As its components are oils high in insect-repellent chemicals, Melissa Type is also very good at keeping flying pests at bay. For this, try blending 5 drops of Melissa Type with 2 drops of Cedarwood in a burner or diffuser.
As this oil is already a blend, it makes an ideal diffusing oil in its own right. However, it complements Cedarwood, Rosemary, Geranium, Lavender, Ylang Ylang or the spice oils. For a refreshing, cleansing aroma, try 5 drops of Melissa Type with 2 drops of Rosemary in a burner or diffuser. For a smoother, more floral aroma, try 2 drops of Geranium with 4 drops of Melissa Type or 3 drops of Lavender with 4 drops of Melissa Type.
